ProLiteracy Learning Circles Self-Paced Courses

Learning Circles are a great way for adult education programs to expand the services they offer students. A learning circle is a small group of students who meet together at scheduled times – much like any other small group, large group, or classroom instruction you provide. However, instead of a teacher or tutor leading the group, instruction is provided through online content. A facilitator encourages discussion and provides support to the learners.

These three free courses, Introduction to Learning Circles, Learning Circles for Administrators and Site Coordinators, Learning Circles for Facilitators, plus the Training Activity Guide, will show you how to implement learning circles in your program.
