ESL Word Nerds
ESL Word Nerds creates research-based resources by teachers, for teachers. Their materials are rooted in structured literacy, filled with visual supports and vocabulary scaffolds, and designed to make learning effective, engaging, and fun for English learners.
This google folder links to Book 1 – Short Vowels which includes the book, visual companions, posters, flashcards, assessments. This folder also contains the presentation Suzy Sylvester facilitated for the Virginia Adult Learning Resource Center on Structured Literacy and Book 1.
