Career Fair Lesson Plans

Educators at the English Empowerment Center developed this career fair lesson plan and elevator pitch workshop guide, targeted at adult low intermediate ESOL. It includes an instructor guide, slideshow, and student handouts. The lesson covers career fair vocabulary and includes reading as well as dialogues and role play. The elevator pitch workshop, which can easily be adapted for a GED or IET setting, includes a learner-friendly template and an evaluation rubric for structured feedback.
