This webinar will cover best practices for designing coherent and effective online courses. Additionally, we will focus on student engagement, building community, and applying Universal Design for Learning and accessibility standards to selecting and implementing instructional materials. Participants will learn to:

• apply Universal Design for Learning and accessibility standards to instructional materials;
• apply community building strategies in a virtual environment;
• design interactive and meaningful activities for online courses; and,
• identify best practices for designing an online course.
