LINCS: Guidance on Voting Rights of People with Disabilities

September 12, 2024 @ 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm

LINCS Literacy Information and Communication System logo

Voting is one of our nation’s most fundamental rights and a hallmark of our democracy. However, due to limitations in access, many people with disabilities have been excluded from this right of citizenship.

Join LINCS moderators, Michael Cruse (Learners with Disabilities) and Jennifer Gagliardi (Civics Education & Citizenship) on September 12th at 3:30 ET.  We will review the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other federal protections to identify and eliminate barriers preventing persons with disabilities from full voting participation.
