Family Literacy Toolkit

This family literacy toolkit was developed in collaboration with the Goodling Institute for Research in Family Literacy at Penn State University. The toolkit provides evidence-based strategies, resources, worksheets, and program examples to help practitioners develop a well-rounded, intergenerational, four-component family literacy program. Additionally, the toolkit focuses on using AEFLA funds for family literacy programming.

The toolkit linked here is a Virginia-specific version that contains Virginia-specific policies.

The toolkit on the Goodling institute website is a generic version that does not contain Virginia-specific policies.
