Submit to SPOTLIGHT

Submissions are open for the fourth annual issue of SPOTLIGHT. Just complete our simple online form  to submit writing or artwork.

 

You can use the web address tinyurl.com/spotlightVA to find the SPOTLIGHT submission form. Submissions for the next issue are due March 14, 2025.

 

SPOTLIGHT publishes work by adults who are currently participating in a Virginia adult education or literacy program. SPOTLIGHT welcomes all types of writing, including fiction and nonfiction, poetry and prose. Picture stories, illustrations, and other artistic works are also welcome.

Adult educators can complete the submission form for their learners, but should only submit work if they have the original artist’s or writer’s permission to do so. For more about SPOTLIGHT, visit our SPOTLIGHT FAQs. Our next issue will be published in spring 2025.
