Who is the VOEE? The Virginia Office of Education Economics (VOEE) was created by legislation and established in 2021. VOEE’s mission is to leverage data to inform educational programming, policy, and workforce partnerships across the Commonwealth. VOEE’s data analyses are intended to inform policy and practice on the availability, quality, and supply of talent in Virginia.
The VOEE labor market dashboards are a valuable resource for aligning workforce development programming to local, regional, and state labor market needs. Data on these dashboards support career progression and include demographic information, labor market data and 5-year projects, earnings, and regional information about the alignment between education and workforce needs.
