Ever wonder what it means to provide instruction on the rights and responsibilities of citizenship and civic participation?

The Enhancing Access for Refugees and New Americans project is offering a virtual training to help adult educators, especially those teaching Integrated English Literacy and Civics Education (IELCE), think about civics activities that promote English learners and immigrants’ civic readiness. This may include supporting eligible students as they move forward on their path to citizenship. The training will include information on the citizenship process and learning more about how adult education and citizenship instruction program providers can work together.
