pbstirrup@vcu.eduI have been a VCU employee since 2004 and now I’m the Registration and Support Coordinator for the Virginia Adult Learning Resource Center. Before coming to VALRC, I worked in the School of Education at the Training and Technical Assistance Center (TTAC) as librarian and program support. After that, I worked in the School of Social Work at the Virginia Institute for Social Services Training Activities (VISSTA) as a training support technician.
I am a native of the Richmond area but spent 13 years in Suffolk County, Long Island, NY, where I began my education career as an instructional assistant in one of the local school districts. When I moved back to Virginia, I worked for J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College at their Parham Road and Downtown Campus Tutoring Center as a program support technician. I have also worked in private industry for a Lotus Notes education center and a Microsoft education center.
