Iris Guillet

I began my career in adult education in 1987 at Bronx Community College as an ABE, GED^®, and ESL instructor. In 1990, I relocated from New York City to Virginia, where I continued my profession in adult education for Richmond Public Schools. During my tenure at RPS, I oversaw learner’s educational placement, NRS, website and delivery of confidential assessments, led professional development in introduction to computer applications and ESL classroom instruction using the computer, and assisted with placing learners in vocational pathways. As the Counseling and Enrollment Specialist at VALRC , I provide direction and expert guidance to current and future learners looking to further their education.
