College Career Readiness Standards
The College and Career Readiness Standards (CCR) for Adult Education report presents a set of college and career readiness standards that reflect the content most relevant to preparing adult students for success in colleges, technical training programs, work and citizenship—in the areas of English language arts/literacy and mathematics.

English Language Proficiency Standards for Adult Education (ELPS)
The ELPS emphasize the academic language needed by adult English language learners. Each of the 10 standards is broken down into 5 levels that describe a progression of language skills. The document includes two views of the standards: the first is designed for ESOL instructors while the second is intended to aid ABE/HSE instructors whose classes include language learners.

Handbook for Sustaining Standards-Based Education in Adult Education, Susan Pimentel, 2014.
