Strategic Competitive Grant Writing web-based tutorials
The Strategic Competitive Grant Writing web-based tutorials consist of five modules. These modules can be viewed as a whole for those who are interested in attaining or refreshing a wider spectrum of competitive grant writing skills or as individual modules to support targeted skill development needs. Please note the first six slides are the same in each module, so you may skip those if you follow each module sequentially. Handouts are also available upon request.

Module 1, The Mechanics of Grant Writing, takes you through three stages of writing a competitive grant: preparation, identification, and proposal.
Module 2, Outcomes and Impact, helps you analyze your strategic plan for intended outcomes and evaluate your data to show program improvement.
Module 3, Statement of Need and/or Capacity and Commitment, helps you articulate the alignment between your programming and funder priorities.
Module 4, Goals and Objectives, focuses on writing and evaluating SMART goals and measurable objectives.
Module 5, Program Design, Activities or Action Plans, Budgets and Evaluations, assists integrating these important components with sufficient quality and intensity into the overall grant proposal.
