DESCRIPTION:Come and review the important role of fluency in reading instruction. We will discuss the three key components of reading fluency and look at a variety of activities tutors and teachers can try. We will talk about the mechanics of doing fluency practice via Zoom\, Google Meet\, Teams or any other remote tutoring tool (including the phone!). Communities already gathering to celebrate welcoming can use that momentum to register voters\, deepen civic participation\, and keep people engaged past Election Day. \nThis three-part series\, presented in partnership with Nonprofit VOTE\, gives you those tools. Sessions are designed for organizational leaders\, staff\, and volunteers — whether you’re new to voter outreach or building on existing efforts.
