Tony Ryals Bio Pic As the Workforce Support Specialist, I serve as resource support in the delivery of designated educational or interpretive programs and support localities in their efforts to assess program and service needs. I also provide support in gathering and analyzing data, reports, trends, and other information in order to support planning and development of activities of CTAE and VALRC. I also provide support in the development of workforce education programs, particularly PluggedInVA and the Virginia Career Pathways Blueprint for IET.

I am originally from Goldsboro, NC and I am an avid Carolina Panthers fan! I received my BA from The University of Toledo (Ohio), My M.Ed from Lesley University (MA), and my Ed.S from Liberty University. Prior to working at the VALRC, I taught 8th grade in Boston Public Schools, worked as a Program Director for a non-profit program, and worked as a Job Coach for students with disabilities. I found a passion for working in Adult Education while teaching GED classes at my church. In my spare time I love to travel: Portland, Seattle, and Vancouver, BC are next on my list!
