Description:
Level I, Session 3 for GED and ABE instructors addresses the delivery of instruction, including:
• understanding research-based instruction,
• developing and delivering instructional activities using research-based principles, and
• understanding and planning activities to foster skills development and knowledge acquisition.
In this six-hour workshop, participants will also consider the realities of multilevel classes and open and managed enrollment.
This is the final Session in Level One of Virginia’s ABE/GED Instructor Certification Program. When participants have completed all three sessions and their self-selected workshop, they may then apply for Level One Certification.
