This introductory session, “Managing Adult Education Programs: Administration,” will focus on the following topics:
* Funding from OAEL: types, sources, and cycles
* OAEL oversight of adult education programs
* Understanding WIA Title II
* Importance of grant-writing skills
* Data collection, submission, and analysis
* Data-based decision-making
* Effective staffing
* Professional development for all staff
* Advisory and governing boards
Join staff from the Resource Center and the OAEL for these two days of training:
TARGET GROUP: Program Managers and appropriate executive level staff. This training is not for administrative support or teachers. It is aimed at those individuals who make the financial and programmatic decisions.
