Online training is a great way to begin or further your work in adult education. We offer both facilitated online courses as well as self-paced policy training.

The facilitated online courses are designed for adult education and ESOL practitioners and are conducted through the Blackboard platform. Experienced facilitators lead the classes, and you learn at your own pace in the comfort and convenience of your home or office.

The self-paced policy training are delivered through our From Intake to Achievement course. Within this course you will find the Virginia Assessment Policy Training, the Virginia Goal-Setting Policy Training, TABE Certification Training, and the Guide to the Virginia Adult Content Standards. These courses are available to you at any time and are self-paced.

There are no fees for the courses if you work for a Virginia program that receives funding through the Virginia Department of Education's Office of Adult Education and Literacy. If you are outside of Virginia or don't work for an OAEL funded program, please contact the Resource CenterĀ at (800) 237-0178 for more information.
