Welcome to GED as Project, begun by Virginia's Workforce Improvement Network, a partnership between James Madison University and the Virginia Literacy Foundation, and completed by the Virginia Literacy Institute at Virginia Commonwealth University.  The entire project was funded by the Virginia Department of Education, Office of Adult Education and Literacy.  GED 2002 has brought a new approach to this test, emphasizing higher order thinking skills, problem solving and application more strongly than in the past. To meet this challenge, we present our vision of GED as Project.
