Incorporating Technology into Instruction, Study Circle
In this study circle participants will identify skills and context for their lessons in order to address the needs of adult learners, design contextualized lesson plans for multi-level classes, and integrate technology into lessons that meet CCR Standards and WIOA requirements. This study circle is a highly interactive, participatory structure for generating group work. The goal is to build, share, and express knowledge though a process of open dialogue and deep reflection around issues or problems with a focus on a shared outcome. The study circle will use onsite meetings and social networking tools to manage collaborative work following a timeline agreeable to all participants. The final result will be a lesson plan customized for the teacher's students that was developed through shared knowledge generated over 6-8 weeks of interaction. 18 hours
