Career Pathways through Integrated and Contextualized Instruction
In this half-day day session, we will look at models of integrated and contextualized instruction and use an inquiry-based instructional method to incorporate these models into our own instruction. We will also learn about the skills that are most sought after by employers and how we can adapt sample workplace readiness activities to fit the needs of our unique teaching and learning situations to prepare our students for real life challenges in the workplace and beyond. 3 hours
